I had the privilege of meeting Laura when she just happened to be with a friend who was playing in a band at The Cactus Moon in Florissant Missouri. I was always scouting around for new music so I went up to the band and asked if they had any original music that they had written on a CD or tape. They said not at this time but they had a friend they wanted to introduce me to that had a CD and to come up and meet her as soon as they were on break. That is when I met the young budding artist Laura Lynch.

Laura was very enjoyable to talk to. I gave her my business card and asked her if she would send me a CD so we could use the music on our show. Little did I know at that time that I just shook hands with and met the next biggest star to hit the music world and country charts. Yes, I met Laura back in the 90's when the band was known as The Dixie Chicks All Cowgirl Band, right out of Dallas, Texas. Laura has come a log way since I met her.
